Boondoggle and Eurostar Group launch 'Track to the future'

Did you know that the carbon footprint of a London-Paris journey on a Eurostar train is 14 times smaller than a trip by plane? That Thalys and Eurostar trains in the Netherlands are 100% powered by wind energy? And that the Eurostar Group recycles all its food waste, is committed to ecologically responsible catering and innovates in eco-driving? Probably not. Moreover: even most of their own staff members are unaware of all their initiatives for a sustainable future. That's why Eurostar Group asked Boondoggle Havas to develop an internal communication campaign. The goal is simple: make employees aware of Eurostar Group's positive actions and impact, but also fuel their pride and invite them to adopt environmentally responsible behavior in their private lives as well.

And so Boondoggle Havas launched "Track to the future", a series of animated videos featuring two funny birds discovering Eurostar Group's initiatives on a journey full of surprises. Each video is accompanied by an infographic that shows employees not only how European attitudes towards sustainable development are changing, but more importantly how they themselves can make progress in this area.

The campaign was fully designed, illustrated and animated by Boondoggle Havas. It is broadcast on Eurostar Group's internal media in Belgium, France and the United Kingdom.
