The start of the new company by both founders of Boondoggle fits within a strategy to expand the Boondoggle offer internationally, in cooperation with Havas Worldwide. Apart from opening new offices, this strategy includes launching new services for the European market.
Boondoggle Belgium will expand under the ambitious leadership of Pieter Lambrechts (CEO) and will be the first Boondoggle office to launch “Re-imagination”. This is a unique outlook on strong brands and the integrated agency of the future, where the customer plays a key role.
Pieter Lambrechts: “These are extremely interesting times for our business. Technological evolutions push the boundaries and causes big shifts in existing markets. New markets are created. Now is the time for many brands to redefine themselves.
With Re-imagination, we're not only launching a clear view on strong brands, but mostly an attitude and an approach as well. In cooperation with our clients, we want to set a new course again in our country. In the field of digital products, services and creative content & campaigns in all possible forms.”
The management of the integrated Boondoggle in Belgium will also include managing partners Inge Vander Velpen (Brand & Business Development), Sam De Vriendt (Concept & Creative Director), Erik Meylemans (Strategy & Service Design), Vincent Depoortere (Technology & Innovation) and Fien Paepen (COO).
This team will be at the head of more than 100 talents, including CD Niels Schreyers, Service Designer Lansen Walraet, brand-new CD Dieter Vanhoof and Brand Strategist Kristel Vanderlinden.
Creative director Odin Saille has decided to leave the agency and will soon announce his new plans.
In addition to their international roles, Pieter Goiris and Werner Camps will stay very much involved with Boondoggle in Belgium and Havas Boondoggle Nederland, respectively as chairman and director of the Board of Directors.
